What The Sea Keeps

A place where the sea holds space for it all. While the sky burns and catches fire, marking its exit in a blaze of glory, the sea stays calm and patient beneath. This seascape actually started out in daylight, but found its finish on the cusp of night instead. Painted in long, sweeping layers to steady the pace of a sky that's lighting up just as it should be quieting down.

A quick note on size, because I want you to have the right thing. A painting that looks generous on your phone can look a bit apologetic over a sofa (or the other way round). If you're unsure, send me a photo of where you want it to go and I'll help you work it out. Reach out here to get started.

Returns accepted. You have 30 days from your purchase date to return a piece. Email jade@almacarastudio.com on receipt if you are unhappy, quoting your order reference and reason for return, and I will arrange a refund. Items must be returned in original condition. Return shipping costs and original shipping costs are non-refundable. Items returned after 30 days are not eligible for a refund or exchange.

I'm Jade, and I paint on the Essex/Cambridgeshire border. Every piece starts with slowing down and sitting with a feeling or a memory. Then I build up layers of texture and colour until the light feels right. More about me here.
