Returns & Shipping
Shipping
UK shipping is calculated at checkout. A flat rate of £12 applies to smaller works and £25 to larger works. Shipping costs are not refundable. Free collection is available by arrangement — please email almacarastudio@gmail.com before purchasing to arrange a collection time. EU and international shipping is available on request; please contact us before purchasing for a quote. Any import duties or taxes are the buyer's responsibility.
All artworks are carefully wrapped and dispatched within 5–7 working days of cleared payment. You will receive a tracking number once your piece is on its way.
Condition on arrival
Every piece is photographed before it leaves us. If your artwork arrives damaged, please photograph the packaging and the damage within 24 hours of receipt and contact us at almacarastudio@gmail.com. We will work with you to resolve this as quickly as possible.
Returns
Original artworks are one-of-a-kind pieces and we want you to love what you receive. Please look carefully at the images, read the artwork descriptions, and ask any questions before purchasing — we are always happy to provide additional photos or information.
We accept returns within 30 days of your purchase date. Email almacarastudio@gmail.com as soon as possible if you are unhappy with your purchase, quoting your order reference and reason for return, and we will arrange a refund. Return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility. Items must be returned in original condition. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Items returned after 30 days are not eligible for a refund or exchange. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned artwork.
Exchanges
If you would prefer to exchange your purchase for a work of equal value rather than a full refund, we are happy to arrange this within the same 30-day window. Please mention this when you get in touch.
Commissioned works
Commissioned works are non-refundable once the brief has been agreed and work has begun, except in cases where the finished piece materially departs from what was agreed. Commission terms are set out in a separate client agreement.
Questions
If anything here is unclear, or you have a specific situation you'd like to talk through, please get in touch — we'd rather have the conversation than leave you uncertain.
