Small Wonders

There is enough heaviness in the world that sometimes, I think, we should make space where we can challenge it with lightness. Sometimes the need can just be simpler: to make something beautiful that wasn't there before.

The Small Wonders florals arrive on lighter days when my feelings are floaty and natural and looking to have a little bit of fun. There won't often be a deep, profound feeling to work through, no moment to capture before it disappears. Just bright colours, sometimes continuous lines, and some whimsy like the flowers that come out of nowhere on the pavement and make you smile or a garden full of blooms. This collection is expressive and bold, a little whimsical in places, and I completely love the contrast of it to my other works.

I hope they find you the way a flower might on an ordinary walk. It catches your eye out of nowhere and makes you stop for that extra moment to take it in.
